Well after a few hours arguing with my PC over the alignment of floating CSS blocks it appears I found the answer. It seems the ORDER in which you actually write the code matters. I had originally:

1. left
2. center
3. right

But this had the right float, floating but pushed down below the line of the denter and left content; not what I wanted. So I finally tried putting it like so:

1. left
2. right
3. center

And bingo, solved as seen here http://resume.dward.us/ -----
